The Hunt House Complex has been completely restored and enlarged over the years to a
point beyond recognition from its beginnings. The house itself contains
the administrative offices of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club and the
Club shop. The second floor contains a large photographic history of the
marque, and on the ground floor the Royce room houses a unique collection
of memorabilia. The American room is devoted to the American Springfield
Rolls-Royce and a magnificent library boasts a complete collection of
"The Autocar." A fully equipped kitchen of the highest standard
provides catering facilities for the magnificent 100 seat conservatory
dining room, one of the last projects to be completed.
A once derelict kitchen garden has been transformed into a beautiful picnic area. The
old feed store has been completely redesigned and imaginatively rebuilt
to house the massive archive material passed to the Sir Henry Royce Memorial
Foundation by Rolls-Royce. This building also contains examples of Sir
Henry's electrical work, car and aero engines, graphic wall panels, photographs
and special displays.
The C.S. Rolls wing, another recent project, contains a 150 seat, state of the
art, conference centre with audio visual and projection facilities. This 4,953
sq.ft. wing also doubles the archive space to house the ongoing collection of
this invaluable material.
